1 Thessalonians 5:11-14 New International Version (NIV)
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Is a word and action planted deep within my soul
I don't know the answer of why not, but I know that God is able. I was telling my nephew that bad things happen to good people. We might never know the reason why of things. My brother died from cancer, why didn't God heal him? I was told that God did heal him through death. Still hard for the human mind to understand at times. It comes down to hope and peace in knowing that God still has a plan. I just can't stop believing in miracles or knowing that God is able. I've seen many miracles in my life time. I choose to live by this verse: Jeremiah 29:11 ~ A plan, A promise and A future.....
Hope ~ dictionary says this:
a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
a feeling of trust.
Luke 18:35-43 New International Version (NIV)
A Blind Beggar Receives His SightAs Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging.36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”
“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.
42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.
What did the blind man want?
Lord I want to see and the Lord said, "receive your sight, your faith has healed you.
What do you want?
Lord I want to ........................................, "receive it, your faith has healed you.
It would be so simple if we could say say that and receive a miracle. Sometimes our miracles comes in a healing and that's a process of time. Sometimes our miracles is in little things of life everyday. Sometimes we just need to encourage ourselves, reach out to others and believe big. I get at a loss of words when I hear the worst news and I only know to go to prayer. I believe prayer does change things, but it also changes my outlook at things. Daily praying and praising through each situation of life. Sometimes it's just easier to said than done in life to believe. Believing is what I do and I know God is able to handle your now too. I may not know what is happening in your life, but God does. He cares and who knows what today will bring. Another day closer to him and to your miracle.
THE BLIND MAN DID NOT GIVE UP!
Don't give your on your miracle either.....
My thoughts and prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Never loose hope, peace or trust in the Lord. Ask God and hold on for a miracle. Don't give up and listen to any negative voices. You have too much to gain to loose in God. One day is here and I have learned to live in this very day. We are not promised the rest of the day or tomorrow. Live in peace of mind and joy of knowing God is right here with you. Purpose this a good day!
