The Bible says:
Matthew 5:9 New International Version (NIV)
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
I CHOOSE PEACE ~
I like how the Bible speaks of blessed are the peacemakers. I like how people say that I bring peace into their lives because I truly know it's a God thing. I don't always make the right decisions in life, but I certainly have learned through them. Never doing something again and leaning to God for understanding on others.
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
I CHOOSE PEACE ~
There is a reason that God says to lean not to your own understanding. We can not see the full plan of God for our lives, but God can. Looking back I see how roads of life were rough and very hard. I can see how God spared me from some pain of life but also how he brought me through others. Life is such a up and down thing. Staying on the path God chooses for us is important. Only you can accomplish what he has created you to do. Only I can accomplish what he has created me too. Together, we can stay on the road of peace and learn from everything in life. Daily I learn and grow from my own choices. Sometimes at night, I play over my day and wish I had said this or that, but I did not. So I must let it go and learn from it.
On the road of life, it is all about learning and growing. Heart break happens to each of us in different ways. Nobody knows the depth of your story but God. Close family or friends might think they know, but only God knows your complete thoughts. Allowing others in our lives is so helpful and no need to walk this life alone. It is picking and choosing in this big world of choices. The right mate, church, job, school, friends and the list goes on. Pray and ask God what he has for you today. To lead you down roads of peace and wisdom. Learn from others too and lean to God in all areas.
My prayers are with you, your family and friends. I know that things change suddenly and we must be ready in our prayer life to handle it. We can see complicated situation and maybe not know what to say to someone. Yet, just knowing someone cares is so valuable. Lean an ear to hear someone and wisdom in what to say. Looking into the mirror, see a strong confident person and ready to handle this day with peace. Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called the children of God. Let us learn to be happy for those happy and mourn with those who mourn. Let God bring out the best in you and you can shine brighter than you might realize. People watch our lives and our examples matter. You are important and never forget that! Happy new day.....
