I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW ~
I"m in the in the golden years of life and I told my husband the other day that we didn't plan right. Our money avenue of life and the saving street of life crossed paths but not enough. We find ourselves barely making it in life and living pay check to pay check is totally no fun. Retirement money is important as you grow older, social security might not be there for you and balance is the key to all things. You can not just live in your now, but plan for the golden years my friends.
If you set yourself up great in your 30's, you will totally be good for your 60's. I tried to tell someone that the other day but their ears were shut off to me. I find wisdom in older people and paths that younger people have not traveled. Sometimes people think they know more than you and maybe they do, but nobody knows your path of life but you. The struggles, the good times and planning ahead.
I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW ~
The Bible says:
3 John 1:2 King James Version
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Taking this same thought into the Bible is amazing. Our soul can prosper as we grow in God and do his plan. Our soul can be at peace in the middle of a huge problems. Trusting God with all your heart and leaning not to your own understanding. Yet, stepping out in faith and listening closely to the next thing in life. I have been in hard places of life and lack of money. I have been in great places of life and more money than I ever imaged in life. As we grow older, you can hear people say this, "I wish I knew then, what I know now". This is such a true statement for me. But we can not go back, but press forward.
Philippians 3:14 King James Version
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Yes, we need money and yes we need savings. Balance it out for your life now and if you want to get ahead in life, talk to a financial advisor or person who uses their money wisely. Life is always about material things, but material things are needed in our lives. Do not use credit cards to get ahead, but it only brings more debt to you. My prayers are over this writing today and your lives. I believe that God wants us smart and to balance all things out. Plan for your now, but plan ahead too.
I know some people are not planners and they live in their now of life. Since I turned 60 years old, I find myself wishing I knew all this stuff in my younger years. God has set us up for victory and we can slam that plan by using money not wisely. I can never blame God for my own choices, the lack of balance but I can certainly write you who read this and share some stories of life.
As I press toward God, I find myself changing more everyday. I find the peace of God rest in the middle of wonder and yet I know more than I would like to admit on paper. My husband and I made wrong choices with money and the consequences of that is hitting us. I believe there is a way out of this and I trust God big. I pray daily for the readers of my blog and wisdom to make right decisions.
God is faithful and takes care of us. We must also take care of our needs and balance out the wants. Happy new day readers of my blog and thank you for your prayers for me as well. I also have more in life than money can buy. I am a positive person who believes that TIME is the best gift you can give a person. Sharing a card you made or anything that puts time into a project. I love that I have kid/adults and grandchildren. I also live to write you every morning and pray for you. I am a person who cares and hopes I show it daily. I do not claim to know everything, but I have an ear to hear what the Lord says. I've learned to balance out things and I hope you have too.
Feel free to write me at: Janet@youdontevenknow.org and I will write you back.
