There are somethings we cannot change but we live to through in life. Coming out a better person and not bitter over the past.
Serenity Prayer ~
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to His Will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.
I CAN NOT CHANGE IT ~
Trusting that God will make things all right
I really like the first part of this prayer. Learning from things and wisdom to know the difference of things we can change or not. Beginning again is what we all do after sin. The Bible says this:
Romans 3:23-26 King James Version (KJV)23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Since we have all sinned at some point, a new beginning happens. After I put Jesus into my heart, ii became a learning experience of life for me. I grew up knowing there was a Jesus but I didn't know him. Inside my heart was anger, bitterness and so much hurt as a kid. My teenager years of my dad dying suddenly brought me to this place of life. The big wonder of how could Jesus is the answer, when he did not heal my dad or did he? The Bible says that we all have a time to be born and a time to die. Over time, I understood this statement but not as a teenagers.
We just don't know what one person faces in one day. There is so much to learn and grow from daily in life. If we could let go of the things we can not change. There is no need to replay them over and over again. I know someone that somethings happen to over 30 years ago and they still seem like its today. They miss out on church events and special moments with me. I have learned that if something is important to someone else, I do my best to be there for them. I pray lots for my friends who are hurt in life and hope they can see moving on helps too. I felt to share this prayer today above and hope that you will find true peace of life if you don't already have it. Look around and see all the amazing things you do have in life and that God is still the answer to peace.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking the time to read this and remember to pray for me too. We are connected for a reason and I believe that is a God moment. God loves you and your important!
