Psalm 63:4 New International Version (NIV)
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
I BELIEVE ~
Matthew 18:20 New International Version (NIV)
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
As a kid, I remember my brother and his kindness to me. He was five years old than me and over the years, he spoke of God and his faithfulness. My brother had cancer at the age of 37 and he showed the importance of trusting God through everything. I was 32 years old when he went to Heaven and found myself angry at God. I remember so many things running through my head.
I didn't want him to leave earth and I didn't like the feeling inside my heart. My brother (Ronnie) told me that he would always be there for me and yet I felt so alone. His time was to enter Heaven and my time was to deal with it. I had two little kids waiting that Christmas Day to open gifts and to know their uncle was okay. I began to explain what okay meant and he would want us happy. This is the day we celebrate the Jesus birthday too.
Life can bring us sorrows, smiles and the reality of living a daily life. Ups and downs are in each of our lives. I hold tight to the Bible Chapter that tells us their is a time for all things. ~
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 New International Version (NIV)
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
I BELIEVE ~
My brother rest with Jesus now and no more pain.
My heart often aches because I don't understand the cancer thing, sudden heart attacks, dementia and so much more. I learn everyday of my life and do my best to be a good example to others. I trust God and I must lean not to my own understanding and know that God has a plan. I believe big and I thank God for strength, courage and hope in a new day.
Isaiah 55:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends! None of us know exactly what we will deal with today, but God does. Call upon him and ask for strength, courage, wisdom and keep the faith. The Bible says that faith is small as a mustard seed.
Matthew 17:20 King James Version (KJV)20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
