Each Season (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall) holds a purpose and designed to help us. Just like the words says:
1 Corinthians 3:7-9 New International Version (NIV)So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.
9 For we are co-workers in God’s service;you are God’s field, God’s building.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE ~
Beings today in each of our lives.
Co-Workers in God's service ~
Each of us are different for a reason. We won't all reach the same people, but there are people we are meant to reach. Looking beyond our own mistakes of life and living in today. Today holds so many things. The unknown is in front of us and carry the known with us. God continues to be known for his love for each of us. After all, God sent his only son to die for us.
John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
It takes believing and holding on in some cases for prayers to be answers. I personally have seen some prayers answered immediately and others that take some time. In that time of waiting, we have an opportunity to grow and become stronger in our faith.
There is not one person who can fix the world, but together, we can make a difference. Each life touches someone else and our examples goes further than we can imagine in life. Some of us will never hear the words of how much we mean in this life. It is often said at a funeral or life celebration that we hear what that person (who went to Heaven) means to someone else.
For example, when my mom was living in the care home, I didn't realize that she went around talking about faith. She was a strong encourager in the care home and I never knew that. She would talk to the workers there and they loved to hear her. That became a wow moment for me, because my mom only seem to complain when I was there. I became so happy when I heard that she spread the word of God and talked about the good old days.
I understood the meaning of the good old days. I remember when there was a short period of time when my mom (Alice) had so much faith. There wasn't anything that God couldn't do. Then one day, I'm not sure the depth of it, but she stopped. She stopped the road of faith and became angry. No more church, no more talking about faith and I wasn't to ask why. Life would continue and down the road, she would try church again. But something was different. She never quite came back to that faith level again. Until, the end of her life. She knew the God that created her, loved her and she would speak of him in the care home.
You might wonder why I am telling you this today. I believe that someone needs to hear NOT to stop believing and living in faith. Things don't always happen we when think, but we must continue this walk with God daily.
2 Corinthians 5:7
For we live by faith, not by sight.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I truly care and I hold onto faith with you today. God is a God of new beginnings and build your foundation of life on him daily. Take some time to read, listen to music and enjoy this day you have been given.
