THE PLAN ~
It is designed to become a place to live
THE FOUNDATION ~
Will be strong enough to hold a house
THE PROMISE ~
After water lines are installed, electricity and all the things a person would need, it becomes complete.
I can totally relate this to our spiritual house. It starts with something unseen and the hope of greater things to come. It is written in: JEREMIAH 29:11 ~ A PLAN ~ A PROMISE ~ A FUTURE
The design of a house is well planned out. What is the best plan for the space inside? Relate this to our spiritual house too. What is the best plan for the space inside our minds and hearts? God has designed you for purpose. His plan unfolds and we begin to learn of his ways. Each one of us is different, but we need Jesus within our hearts.
Hebrews 3:4 English Standard Version (ESV)
(For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)
Isaiah 48:13 English Standard Version (ESV)
My hand laid the foundation of the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;
when I call to them,
they stand forth together.
John 1:3 English Standard Version (ESV)
All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
I find that serving God is a daily thing. It is like developing a great friendship with someone you haven't met face to face. If you have ever had a pen pal or wrote to someone, you know the person is at the other end. A reply will come by mail or message. We have so much technology, internet is valuable too. I wouldn't be writing you today, if it wasn't for internet. God comes us everyday of life. He wants us to surrender our ways, our thoughts and desires to him. He is a God of promise and we can learn daily.
As we see a house being build, we know there were plans before the house began. As we see the foundation being laid, we know that something is in the works. As days go by, we see the building being formed and it took more than one person to do this. Then finally, the house is complete and ready for someone to move in. I like to relate this once again to our spiritual life. It doesn't come overnight and our growth takes time. God made the plan, we take the steps toward what we were created to do.
People get hurt during the growth process of life. Some go to church and then will never return again. Others get hurt and decided it wasn't Jesus that made those comments, but God will brought them back. Maybe it's not the same church, but we can let the devil rob us from God's plan. It was never his plan for you to stop serving him. The enemy comes in like a lion that roars and humans back off. Be careful of what you back off from today. God's plan continues and he wants the best for you.
God places people in our lives that help us see positive. There are also people who see negative as well. Once again, be careful who you listen too and watch your words. I have found that fewer words are better and action does speak louder. I live daily to do my best and I still make mistakes. I'm not perfect, but I'm glad that God forgives. I'm glad that God restores and lifts us up again. Life is too short to stay in the negative of yesterdays. Move into this new day with hope, courage and change. Change is created daily and God has laid the foundation for you.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friend!
