A place where you feel peace or least it should be ~
When I think of the word home, I often think of Dorothy on the Wizard of Oz who just wanted to go home. A place where her auntie would be and so much more. Dorothy would only need to tap her heals three times at one point and be home or would she?
The one thing we search for so hard in life, is often things we had all along. It's crazy how our lives can change suddenly and we are left to tap our heals three times. Our homes lives affect us in many ways. A broken home brings so much broken, but even a together home can bring pain to our lives. I have heard this statements so many times: HOME ~ is where the heart is
Home to me is mixed together from birth until now. I've learned through good times and hard times. Then one day I found a new way of thinking. Freedom for mind and yet a battle continues to do the right thing. It comes a point where I must allow God to build my house inside of me. A strong foundation of faith and moving forward from past thoughts. Searching my life over and seeing how far God has brought me. Read what the Bible says:
Psalm 127 New International Version (NIV)
1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.
2 In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat--
for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.
Building starts to take place. When we surrender our will to God's will, we have options and new beginnings that take place. A heart surrendered to God is an open door. Casting off the thoughts and learning to balance it all. It does not mean that everything will come easy for you or me, but it will open our minds to clear thoughts if we allow it.
Tap your heals three times and know that on the third day, that Jesus rose again. He not only rose but lives again inside of us. Easter time is often thought of in bunnies, baskets, hurts and eggs. It is also thought of as Jesus, love and others. A pretty new dress for kids, or cute clothes on a boy. Adults like to dress up, wear hats and celebrate in an Easter Service of choice.
God is our protector, he saves us from ourselves and allows a pathway to Heaven to be seen. Take courage today and be kind one to another. One day of life can bring so much to us. Our choices affects others and really affects ourselves. Be kind to you and share a smile as you head out of your door. Share a shine through a text message, email or phone call if you are staying home. Mix it all together and see that God is able to handle your today just fine.
Blessings to all and my prayers continue!
