Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
HAVE YOU HEARD THIS ~
God is good all the time and all the time God is good
Each of us face a new day but none of us know what this day will hold. There will be so much positive and let can be a hard day. Changes in each of lives and living according to the Bible can be hard at times. Our faith gets tested and the big wonder of why can begin. Let us go back to the beginning of our faith and know how great we felt meeting the Lord. That day when you surrendered everything unto him and your soul felt so light. We get weighed down by burdens, stress of live and leaning to what we think. We should lean to God and allow him freedom to handle our lives. Bad things happen and we must find the good in it.
I was talking with someone the other day about life. The Bible says there is a time to be born and to die. Nobody knows those dates exactly but God. He knows when a baby should arrive on earth and he knows our time of entering Heaven. I try daily to stay positive about life and yet I do have moments of tears. I found myself full of tears yesterday when I began to pray and seek God. I know he is able, but I also know that true miracles take place. I'm holding on for a few minutes within my own family. Seeking God with all my heart daily. Lets join together in prayer today for our family, friends and each other. Purpose this a good day!
