There is beauty of a new day!
God has greater things ahead for you and me.
Psalm 139:13-18 (NIV)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand--
when I awake, I am still with you.
There is beauty of a new day ~
So many things changes in our lives on a daily base. I recall how the Lord said we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I will choose to praise the Lord for my life. God said we were formed in the secret place but his plan unfolds as we age.
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves who we are in God. We were created and given a mission of life. Each of us hold a different purpose and yet the same. We are to praise God through daily life and to lift him up to others. I was listening to someone who spoke harshly about Christians. That person put all Christians into one box and said they were all the same. It wasn't a good same, but a hurtful spot of their life. If you had one person hurt you, it doesn't mean that everybody will hurt you who calls themselves a Christian. Not everyone who goes to church believes the same way either. I believe in the Bible and the truth of it. I do my best daily, but I also make mistakes.
Each of our lives is a work in progress. Things change daily and we learn from situations of life. We learn who to trust and not to trust. Jesus is one we can count on my friends. His examples lives on and one throughout generations. He went about doing his father's will and others heard of him before he reached their towns. Think about those days for a minute, they did not have cars, cell phone, electricity, inside plumbing and the list goes on. Let us count our blessings of what we do have this day. We have so much to be thankful for in this life. Yes, there is beauty in this day!
At the beginning of a new day, I count blessings.
At the end of that same day, I count blessings.
My prayers continue for you, you family and friends.
