COUNTING BLESSINGS ~ Psalm 103:1-5 (NIV)
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits--
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
COUNTING BLESSINGS ~
David in the Bible went through many things. He made mistakes and God knew his heart. God used his life even after mistakes happen. Each of us have made mistakes and God knew we would. He made a way out by allowing us to ask forgiveness of sins and turn from our bad ways. It's time to count blessings of a new day and live in freedom in Jesus.
Look at verse 5 above and read it again:
who satisifes your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.
An Eagle is a bird who flies above the storm. He knows when trouble is ahead and rises above it. Each of us can rise above our situations of life. We might even call those situations storms of life. Maybe you need a miracle today of healing of your body, your mind and soul. Maybe you need a little encouragement to hold on because help is on the way. I have been in spots of life when I thought the worse and felt major pain of sorrows. Yet, God would send someone on the path of my life to encourage me. I had times that I could not believe happened, but a person would say: I WILL HOLD ON FOR YOU!
Those words changed my mindset and send hope.
There are times when we feel strong and times of feeling weak. Those are feelings and emotions that we can not let run away into the negative. I am a positive person now and I know that God's power is real. I have seen miracles in my life and I know to HOLD ON. God isn't finish yet and gives a new day for a reason. You are reading this right now because God wants you to know you are important! Your life is valuable and someone watches your example. I'm not the person I was in the 30's of life and I've grown greatly in God. Through out life I choose to learn from things each day of life and you can do.
One of my favorite sayings is this:
I can choose to become bitter or better!
I choose better in life!
Life is to short to live in the mistakes of life or regrets. I choose to live in the freedom God gives me each day and so should you. There is something about the name of Jesus and his love that amazes me daily. I am holding on you (readers of my blog), because I know that you have heart's desires and want to see somethings happen in your life is real. God can bring them to pass and realize it's not over yet. Count some blessings and know that I care.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
