LIVE IN TODAY ~
A statement that means so much to me.
Matthew 6:31-34 New International Version (NIV)
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Let us learn to live in this day. I have found if I make the best of this day, tomorrow is going to be okay. No need to worry and let it's a human thing to do. Facing a new day with the peace of God is a must for me. I purpose positive thoughts while going through hard situations of life. Nobody has a perfect life but it might look at that way. We must renew our minds and find that place of peace.
Romans 12:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
ONE LIFE ~
One life means so much and is purposed by God
Today, I miss my mom lots. I am so happy she isn't living in a care place during this shelter in place time of life. She is free in Heaven and God spared us from 2020 shelter in place time. Yet, today I will purpose positive thoughts and miss her greatly. I look back to see how she did her best in life. She could never get over things and maybe she wasn't suppose to. Maybe she needed to learn how to get through things easier. I see now how her own failures of life, stopped her. It spurs me on to not let my failures stop me, but learn how to get through them with God's help. God tells us in his word that we have all sinned, but he gives forgiveness. Letting go of things we can not change and changing the things we can. Our view of our owns lives can stop us. We can not allow that to happen. Let our past spur us on to a greater today.
I hope your today is filled with blessings, hope and peace. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Life is short and I hope we can all see that. Tell someone today that you care, your love them and miss them.
