13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Today we celebrate Brookley's 11th birthday. She is my first born Granddaughter and has brought so much joy to my life. I love her so much and being a Grammie and living my best example before her. I volunteer at her school and have gotten to know many of the kids, principal, teachers, office staff plus other volunteers. It is a community of learning, growing and kindness. She is in 5th and was schedule to go to an outdoor Ed for a few days. She asked me to go and I said yes. However, now we have the shelter in place notice and school has been dismissed for the rest of the year. It saddens me in many ways, but I see the importance of shelter in place. We will move forward each day and keep joy alive in our lives.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLEY ~
It is not only Brookley's birthday, but she has a best friend named Lauryn. They were born on the same day, same age, same hospital and attend the same school. They met on the play ground in Kindergarten and over the years, we have gotten to know her family well. It is also my friends April and Phyllis birthdays. Happy birthday to all. I find it great how God connects lives and we can celebrate the joys of a birthday.
Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Each day of life is another chance to make a difference. A positive attitude will go along way. Think about the excitement you fill when it's your birthday. If we could feel that excitement for others, it was be a grand way of living. The joy of the Lord is truly my strength and I've seen how importance a mindset can be. I love watching kids play and express themselves over things important to them. I often think of how this is how God feels about each of us. He wants us to be joyful and live a happy life. I have learned to count blessings of a new day and hold on for things I pray for in life. Each of us was born for a purpose and it's up to us to carry that purpose out. I rejoice with Brookley today and the others who have birthdays today!
I also celebrate the life of Brookley's mom (Ashley). I remember what she went through to give birth to Brookley and how much prayer went up that day for her life, plus Brookley's life. God is truly a miracle worker. I heard a similar story from Lauryn's mom on her birth. Both moms and girls went through a scary birth but everyone is doing great today! I thank God for their lives. It is good to give thanks for days past and live in today with celebrations.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
