Each day is truly a new beginning!
The Bibles says:
Philippians 3:13-14 New International Version
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
HAD IT NOT HAPPEN ~
I believe I would be a different person
In asking myself if I would do something over, I might say no. I have learned from my mistake. But thinking it through, I would say yes now. I wouldn't want anything to change about my past or I might not be who I am today in God. Through it all, good times and ugly times, I've grown. I have a deeper compassion for people who have less and been treated wrong. I can relate to people who watched loved one's die and things suddenly change a life. So much sorrow and yet so much joy. The joy of the Lord is my strength. It hasn't always been that way, because I had to grow up and learn along the way. I love that the Bible says to PRESS on toward the goal.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 New International Version
The Need for Self-Discipline
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
Each of us are responsible for making right choices. To press toward God and his plan (Jeremiah 29:11). As a kid, it was easy to point fingers are others, but as an adult, we have learned to take on our own things. It's an individuals walk with God and keep our minds stayed on him. I don't consider myself a super Christian, but I do consider myself one who does her best daily to live what I write and teach. The Bible is full of directions and positive thoughts. Picking and choosing our own is important. You are important and ever mistakes can grow up to better or bitter. God forgives and forgets, but it is us to brings things back to our minds. LET IT GO and live in freedom with God.
A new day, new thoughts and freedom in our lives! My prayers connive for those who read my blog, your family and friends. I don't know what you are going through, but God does and he cares. Hold on to hope, faith and his amazing love.
