Proverbs 4:23 New International Version
Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
One day brings so much joy to our lives. Another day can bring heartbreak beyond words. Maybe a mixture of both happens in one day. The Bible says to guard our heart because everything you do flows from it.
On Wednesday night, I spoke about guarding your heart. There are seasons that come and go in our lives. The Bible speaks of a time for everything.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 New International Version
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
GUARD YOUR HEART ~
It is often hard to see one life get so blessed, while your life is in a hard place. We are to be happy for those happy and mourn with those who mourn. Seasons change our lives and circumstances are different. I truly believe God has our lives planned out, but let us not forget our free will. Things change us and mold us in life. We can drift far away from God or press toward God. Each of our own choices are important. You are important and never forget that. I wish people could be happy for those who have happen moments. I wish we could share and enjoy each others live's fully. There is no time to waste. One of my greatest joys of life is to be with family and friends. I wish everybody could get along and do the right thing in life. That isn't always going to happen.
Life brings jealousy to some, bitterness to others and a life filled with broken dreams. Stress seems to over power our lives while God wants us hold tight to him. It only through God that we can see things different and lean to him for strength. We can encourage ourselves and that brings so much to our lives. Never let the wrong thoughts overpower the positive thoughts that God is trying to show us. His plan unfolds and seasons will change. In each season are blessings beyond words!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
