GRADUATION 2020 ~
This year is also graduation day for my granddaughter Brookley. She leaves Elementary School and heads to Middle School. Yet, nobody knows what the schools will look like next time because of the virus in our States. Brookey also works hard to get great grades and learn. I can't believe how much she has taught me in life. I am so proud of her. Such an amazing young girl and such a will to learn too. She asked me to go on her Outdoor Ed field trip and I said yes. The school said yes too but the trip was canceled due to the virus. I will forever be grateful she even wanted me to go. I also know many of her friends at school. Today, I have the privilege to watch them graduate in a drive by ceremony. I will wear a mask and stand far away from cars. I have volunteered with many since Kindergarten and the play ground. I value the respect I get from kids and the school. Brookley's school has an amazing Principal, Teachers, Staff and volunteers. Life is changing and I am living in today to celebrate Tay and Brookley in different ways. High School is far different than Middle School graduations, but yet so important to each of them. I also want to celebrate Lauryn, Emma, Chole, Alvin, Brook, Bianca and the list goes on.
Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
PRAYER:
God, I want to pray over Taylor, Brookley and their classmates. God, you have a plan for each of their lives and I know that. Help them in the shelter in place time of life. Help them to press forward with hope and trust in you Lord. So many things can go through a child's mind as change begins. Especially, Taylor and her friends who will faces a new way of life. High School graduation is important to kids, family and friends. It brings change to each one who is close to us too. I pray for parents who feel the change as well. Help them know how to guide young people who becomes adults. As far as Brookley and her friends, help them as they move to a new level of school. Help their parents as they do online school and who knows what the next school year looks like. God, we need you to help kids and adults this day of change. Let them feel happy as they graduate the best way they can today. AMEN
Happy Graduation Day to all who graduate 2020
