You might say I've waited long enough. I prayed and the answer has not come. I continue to trust the Lord but how do I not get weary in waiting? When it is my turn God and when will you answer the cry of my heart? Why does everyone else's prayers get answered fast and mine is still on the why? Question after question can fill one's mind. I've had all these questions run through my brain more than once in my life. Then suddenly I realize where my hope is in life. I do trust the Lord with all my heart. I do realize that seasons of life change and I've changed too. The questions are real and I must remind myself that God is real and the answer is on the way. We can't give up on hope.
God's timing is not my timing or your timing. Things happen to reach of us and how we handle our day is important. Our very own free will takes us down roads we plan and roads we don't plan. Who knows what a day will bring but God. As we wait upon the Lord, he can renew our strength if we let him. I want to say that again, as we wait upon the Lord, he will renew our strength!
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
LEAN TO GOD ~ Submit your ways to him
Somethings are easy to say and much harder to do in life. Letting go of things you can not change and changing the things you can is important. I like how you can read the Bible and you are drawn into a story of someone's life. The great wonder of how people survived the generations of years ago. I can't imagine the depth of one day in the life of Jesus. No running water, no cars, no cell phone, no electric, no lots of things and yet God was his guide.
Matthew 11:28-30 New International Version (NIV)
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
JESUS SAID ~
COME TO ME.......
Each day of life, we can come to Jesus. We can lean on him and let him guide our lives. We can let go and let God continue to mold us. Our will becomes his will and the questions of why, how come and when doesn't really matter as much. Our hope and trust is in God. Asking him largely for things and trusting with all our hearts in his plan. Living a Jeremiah 29:11 life style of a plan, a promise and a future. God is able and he said, "COME TO ME".
God, I thank you for connected my life to whoever reads this. I know that your power is real and your answer is here. That would be trusting you beyond a human understanding and leaning to you for guidance. I ask today to help those who read this, their family and their friends. There is power in your name and some of our unanswered prayers are really answered prayers down the road of life. I do believe you know best for each of us and our own free will can get in the way of your bigger plan. Help us to learn of your ways quickly, rest in you and believe big. For those who are sick, need money, need a house, a car or whatever their need is, meet them at their needs today. Show your power through others and help each of us to see ourselves the way you do. AMEN
Purpose this a good day! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
