Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
IN THE MIDDLE OF IT ALL ~
God is continues to guide our lives
Each of us are waking up to a new day. If you look outside, the weather is a bit different than yesterday. The sky is painted different and the wind may or may not be blowing. That is a simple reminder of who is in charge of this day. God's power is real and helps guide us as we lean to him for direction.
Some of us are waking up to sorrow in our lives and others happiness. One day is mixed of emotions and looking to God for answers. The wonder of why life changes suddenly and our normals are not normal anymore. I am a person who understands a lot and still have moments of wonder. I go back to the Lord's Prayer because he teaches us how to pray.
I had some prayers unanswered and I realize now that God was guiding me to a better decision. I don't know all things, but I do trust the Lord with all my heart. I learn daily and reach out from the middle of my heart when I write you. One day is valuable and even though my blog is about 2 minutes long, I don't want to waste 2 minutes of your time. I want to encourage and lift the reads of my blog up in prayer daily. It matters to me that you have taken time and I know that God works all things for our good.
I think one of the greatest things I've learned is found in"
Ecclesiastes 3 King James Version (KJV)3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
There is a time for all things. A time to be born and a time to die. This makes me want to live in today, plan for tomorrow but do my best daily to make a difference. I've seen a lot and I continue to learn through lives of others and my own choices. Things I could do a little different today and see myself stronger than yesterday in God. I read the Bible and I learn, but I also learn from daily choices.
God teaches us in life to forgive and ask forgiveness. He knew that we would make mistakes and takes our sin away by asking. Then he give us the Lord's prayer to be guided by. We also much take responsibility for our own choices and then forgive ourselves. As I am writing this today, I feel that there is someone who replays over their life in why. Not necessary in a positive way, but in the way of wishing you have a another chance. Somethings in life is no second chance, it's over and it is done. That is when you must press forward and know that if there is nothing you can do about it, leave it alone. If there something you can do about it, change it!
I personally know that somethings are very hard in life. It takes time to get through things and trust again. God wants you to trust him in all things. We have times of never getting over things, but certainly getting through things. Staying positive about things in your life is important. Each day has it's own ups and downs but there is such a balance in God. We learn to think different and hold tight to a better day.
Please know that my prayers are with you, your family and friends. Make today a better today and don't allow the enemy of your soul to stop living. We can change a mindset in a moment. Be determined to make today better, pray and seek the Lord. Put on music and see how even music calms our souls. It's a new day which means new choices.
Take care of you!
