Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
GOD KNOWS ~ we must not lean to our own understanding at times.
Psalm 13:1-6 (NIV)
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
Even David questioned the Lord, but he knew to sing his praises. Davide knew that God has been good to him. Each of us have seen some hard stuff in live and trials that come our way. Yet, we know to sing the praises of God, but sometimes hard to do. Through it all, God works in ways unseen and makes the best come from it. I know who to trust and to lean to in life. We must remember that there is a time for all things. A time to be born and a time to die. The list goes on and we find God to be our strength.
Joshua 1:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS ~
As a new day begins, so does our thoughts. Let them be good thoughts and purpose this a good day. I don't know the things you go through, but God does. There is nothing to big for God. Stir up some faith and hang around someone who faithfully serves God. You can learn from them and grow in God. Don't allow the enemy of your soul to cause doubt. Where there is faith, there is no doubt. Keep pressing forward and reach out to someone you can talk too. Sometimes holding things inside causes sickness to enter our bodies. God wants to refresh your soul and being today.
THROUGH IT ALL ~ I have learned to trust in God......
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
