Ecclesiastes 3 New International Version (NIV)
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
LIVING IN TODAY ~
I have learned to live in a new day to the fullest.
Suddenly things change in our lives. I find it important to find mentors and have people who pray with you. Somethings in my life, I just couldn't do without the prayers of others. I find it hard to explain, but I know that God is with me through everything. I have learned to trust him, but also keep people in my life. When we separate ourselves from others, the devil has a plan to stop us. We can certainly over think somethings and make quick decisions. The Bible also says to lean not to your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
I don't know what you are going through right now, but God does. He will direct your path, but keeping your mind stayed on him is important. Nothing is too big for God, but yes things can go in a different direction. I remember praying for things and God changed what I thought into his path. It worked out better, but no without some big changes in my life. For example, we had a beautiful home in Pinole CA and God directed our path to move across the bridge. I was so sad because I knew God open the door for this house. Yet, had we not moved, we wouldn't know the people we know now. We are in a health church and found amazing friends over the past 18 years. God is so good and sometimes we just go through hard stuff to get to our now of life.
Purpose this a good day. My prayers are with you, your family and friends.
