Throughout the Bible, it speaks about rocks, stones and how Jesus is the rock of our salvation. Be careful not to pick up the wrong rocks and get stuck on failures, sins, shortcomings and defeat of thought. Thoughts have power when we keep thinking about them. So keep your thoughts right.
2 Samuel 22
[ David’s Song of Praise ]
David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior— from violent people you save me. ...
It's time to step into your purpose through Jesus. In all seasons of life, let the ROCK stay firm in your life! Remember what scripture says above: God is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my shield, my salvation, my stronghold, my refuge, and my savior! WOW ~ is is the best. The Bible also speaks about not letting a rock cry out for you.
Luke 19:29-40 New International Version
29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, 30 “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
32 Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34 They replied, “The Lord needs it.”
35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road.
37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
WOW, what more can I say except the Lord is the rock of my life! I face nothing that he doesn't know how to handle. I am excited to be on the team of God. How about you? Ready to surrender it all to God and experience freedom in Jesus! Asking God before you make a move and thanking him for staying solid in your life. Your own choices guide your life more than you realize. It's time to stop, think, speak life words and move forward into greatness. God has something even greater ahead as you press forward and stop the reverse peddle of life.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Purpose this a great day! Thank you for taking the time to read this and plant hope in your life for greater things.
