But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
FRONT ROW ~
Stepping into God's plan for their lives. Believing big and seeing how God brought things together to make this big church happen. Joel spoke of the early days of his Father and how he allow God to use his life to build a church. Joel was happy helping his father and just being behind the scenes of things. One day God would call his father to Heaven and one day Joel would step into being the Pastor of the church. It didn't stop there, because God has a bigger plan. Just take few seconds to look a small church and then look at this picture of the big church Joel Pastor's with his wife and family.
FRONT ROW ~
I sat in the front row of our Church on Sunday morning. As my Pastor Eric Daniel spoke, he mentioned that the Nance family had been at Hillside longer than him and his family. What he didn't mention or maybe even knew, our children attended Hillside far before us. Our daughter was invited by someone at College to attend and she went. That lead to her brother going and then asking us to attend there. I was a little shy back then and barely got to the back row of the church. Over the years, God has mended my broken heart of church hurts from another church and lead me into leadership at Hillside years ago.
BACK ROW ~
Keep that back row open for those who barely get through the doors of a church. People might look all put together on the outside but extremely broken on the inside. Church is place of community and to gather. Not everyone believes the same or acts the same, but we can say we are trying each day of life to do our best. As for you, who knows your story but God and you! He hasn't forgotten his promises to you or your prayers that need to be answered. In life, it takes time to accomplish somethings and it takes a willing heart to let go of somethings in life. Going around that same mountain and nothings changes, really does bring nothing but the same old thing. Stepping out and trying again brings hope and a new day of faith.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Keep pressing toward a better life. Keep doing the right thing and be an example of kindness in all you do. God will uphold you with his righteous right hand. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
