Just like the foundation of a building takes planning and action, so does the foundation of your soul. Your life is an example of many things and should be lead by God. Through it all, there is sin, anger, frustration and we must not let the devil have a foothold in our lives. He can only lie and wants to destroy you.
As I read the Bible, I see this:
Ephesians 4:26-32 New International Version (NIV)
26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
FOUNDATION ~
Based upon the word of God, lead by the holy spirit and open to positive thinking. God's word leads us through the journey of lives that sinned, made mistakes and a real devil that wants to destroy you. That is why the words says: DO NOT LET ~
You have options and desires within you. Have the promises of God and build upon the foundation of Jesus and all is that is true. The Bible is true and allows us forgiveness to our lives and to others. Surrounded by peace, joy, love and good things. Actually, greater things are ahead for each of us. Today might be filled with frustrations, disappointments, sadness or happiness. Our journey of life is unknown to each of us. Only God knows that depth of our story and the victories that lies ahead.
THE PROCESS ~
From the foundations of digging up dirt, laying out a design and action!
Verse 31 ~ Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Living a Jesus lifestyle through it all, is important. You words matter, your actions matters and your yes to God. Giving up your old ways and grabbing onto new ways of living. There is freedom in God and freedom in thoughts. Let us not forget where God has brought us from and keep an open mind in where he is taking you too. Victory is yours and so much more. It often takes turning out thoughts to his plan.
Philippians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
