Acts 7:30-32 New International Version (NIV)
“After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.31 When he saw this, he was amazed at the sight. As he went over to get a closer look, he heard the Lord say: 32 ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.
SUPERNATURAL POWER ~
The story in the book of Acts, talks about Moses who was used by God and heard the voice of God coming from a burning bush. This happen after 40 years and the Bible says that Moses trembled with fear. I can't image hearing a voice from a burning bush and knowing it was God. When we think about that in the natural, it doesn't make sense. A bush that is on fire, but not consumed by the fire? Yet, these are the words written in the Bible are from God. Showing us the power of God that is supernatural. A life changing experience for Moses and for us, who reads the story.
I can recall some miracles in my own life. Doctor reports that were turned around and I know it was the power of God. Prayer works, but we must hold onto our faith through seasons of change. If you read about the life of Moses, you will find that he went through many things. He also pressed forward in the calling upon his life. Just like you and me, we must press forward in life. We must hold onto the supernatural power of God.
Faith is talked about in Hebrews Chapter 11. It speaks about now faith, which is today. Stirring up things you can not see, but hope for in life. Health, finances, hope and happiness to create a foundation of faith in all areas. We might never see a burning bush, but we can see the power of God in many things around you. Each day we can pick out something positive and hold onto that. We don't always see what we have in life, until it is gone.
I find it best to stop complaining about things and focus on the positive things. I am happy I woke up to a new day and yet I feel so sadness in my heart. My family faces things I don't want to see or happen in life, but change happens. I find that keep silent is not always a good thing. We need to let someone know we need prayer or just an encouraging word. We are human and will face good things and hard things in life. Let us not forget the power we heard about in the burning bush or the voice that came from it. A God who speaks through different sources to get our attention.
What do you need today in ways of changes? You can not see it happening? Go ahead and trust God by faith. Asking largely and hold tight to his word (Bible) and the lives that went before us. There is a place of understanding and hope when we choose to believe.
My prayers continue you, your family and friends. It's a new day and new choices. Be brave and see the stronger you today. Speak words of life unto yourself as if you saw the burning bush, that wasn't consumed. WOW MOMENT!
Thank you for taking time to read this.
