JESUS ~
Stays the same forever!
There are other connections with the word forever. For example, I will love you forever. I will trust you forever. The one I dislike is this, I will never leave you. The truth is people do leave us. Whether that is a death and we are left with memories plus heartbreak. Whether that is moving away and lives just change. I have witnessed both situations way more than I would like to admit. Lives change, seasons change and we learn to deal with new normals.
JESUS ~
Stays the same forever!
Do we need people in our lives? We certainly do need people and they need us. Our example goes further than you might ever know. We can learn and grow from one another. We can teach through our own experiences of life. We can love someone forever, but things can change. Some change is good and brings new beginnings for others. The one's left behind deal with seeing favorite places we use to eat at, or talks we will no longer have in person. I remember when my mom died a few years ago. I used to travel to Napa to visit her daily. Once we was gone, I didn't know what to do with my time. No more doctor appointments over 40 years of taking her, no more store trips or hearing her complain about me. It was the night before she passed that I heard words I waited to hear all my life. Darlene had prayed over me and it came true. The one thing I always waited forever for and it was said, but she was gone
JESUS ~
Stays the same forever!
Throughout life, we can see how others change, but can you see who you have changed? I have changed greatly from that 18 year old girl to my 63 old self. I have people who do love me forever and those who do care forever. I have those that I love forever and always will. I have learned from many people and I have been hurt by many people. Jesus does remain the same forever and has this way of drawing us back to him if we drifted away.
Hebrews 13:8 New International Version (NIV)Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
FOREVER ~
I will trust the Lord and lean not to my own understanding on things. God has brought me a long way and through many rough times. It is my past, my present and my future that I hold onto. I live that with Jeremiah 29:11 a plan, a promise and a future. Our very own mindsets can make our day better. Walking in the truth of God words is a must for me and I hope for you!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
