Lets turn our thoughts to the Bible. We can find the road map to life inside of it. As I open the pages, I begin to learn more and more of what happened in the past, the present and expected in the future. Jeremiah 29:11 states that too. Let us begin our new day with a grateful heart and share hope with others. Yes, there are rules, but rules helps us balance life out. One of my granddaughters was asking me about stop lights. What are there different colors and what did the colors mean. She was really little and I told her we learn rules of driving and everybody should know those rules when they drive. The driver must take a test and pass it or they don't get their driving license.
The Bible is a book we can certainly learn from. I like how Noah listen to God and built the ark. He has never seen rain before, but he knew the voice of God. I think of how people must have laughed at him and thought he was crazy for building such a big boat. Then one day, the rain came and he saved his family and animals. Life changed that day and his story continued on in the Bible.
Another example was Moses. He listen to God's voice and suddenly was at the Red Sea. A lot of people were following him and they needed to cross. God's power opened the Red Sea and people crossed on dry land. Moses obeyed God and lives were saved.
How about you? What has God called you to do and are you doing it? I know people who are teachers and they knew without a doubt that is what they should be doing. It certainly isn't about the money, but about little lives that need to learn the rules of reading, writing, math and so much more. I can sit inside a classroom and hear a story read by Ms. Ortiz and feel so happy. Those little Kindergarteners and First graders are so blessed in the way she teaches. I know several other teachers who hearts are for kids too. Like Mrs. Boughner, Mrs. Messner and the list goes on. Heart felt teachers of life and examples to children for the rest of their lives. I think teachers should get paid as much as football players or baseball players.
MY SPIRITUAL LIFE ~
I have given my heart to God and learn daily of rights and wrongs. I make mistakes and start again. I frustrate people and realize I am human. I am a good person and I do my best daily to do the right thing. Do you know that doing the right thing isn't always easy? Come on lets be real, we are human and humans aren't perfect.
I thank God for rules. Rules help us in many ways of life. I hope today you purpose a good day and enjoy the life you have been given. I am doing what God has called me in writing you, but I know there is more. I can share hope daily and I can do better daily too. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
