God clearly says in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 to teach what is right unto your children. It also means to live what the word of God says too. Yet, so many people do not follow the laws of land or rules by those over us. The Governor has placed our State under certain rules and yet you see them broken all the time. So what if people just did the right thing? I even see leaders breaking the rules of the Governor. Yet, it's not my job to judge them. If I work on me and I do the right thing, then I can rest in knowing that. Keeping my opinions and very points to myself. But if we want others to follow, we must set the right example.
New International VersionSubmission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
FOLLOW THE RULES ~
To follow the rules doesn't mean you need to agree.
There are times when I do feel frustrated over my own life choices. I realize that I can't do anything about the past, but I certainly can do something about my today of life. Living under the grace and mercy of God is a gift to each of us. Let us see where God has brought us from (sin) and where he is taking us too (being redeemed).
New International Version
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
FOLLOW THE RULES ~
OF THE LORD (GOD)
Giving my heart to God was one of the best things ever in life. I found a peace that only God can give. It took time to learn and grow into a peaceful place of life. I had memories that hurt and tears would flow. How do I balance some facts of life and making the best of each situation. I would see other people who had more faith than me and I was much younger. I saw them praise in church and hold their hands up during service. I wondered if that same God would help me raise my hands and ask him to forgive me of sins too? That answer was yes he would and I thank God for putting people into my life. People who taught me spiritual things and taught me to trust God through it all. It sparked something inside and stir my life to faith. A little faith started growing into deeper faith. One day at a time and one step at a time. It often leads to moment by moment in life.
OH YES ~ YET, WILL I TRUST THE LORD
It is good to be real with someone and share the goodness of the Lord. I can't do this life alone and I don't want too. I asked for real friends and a family who would love me. I pray daily for people and I believe BIG for them too. Nothing is impossible with God, nothing! Sometimes I find it harder to pray for myself and my desires of life. I take my eyes off of God and look in the natural. I miss having somethings in my life and I miss some people too. Life changes and we change. Nobody said change was easy but it happens. We must continue to trust the Lord and lean to him daily. It's a new day and here we go.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
