1 Corinthians 11:1 New International Version (NIV)
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
I think it is great to get to know people and admire them. Let us not forget that we all have faults and make mistakes. God gives us that way out of sin and we begin to know the voice of God. The Bible speaks of knowing his voice. But have you ever just questioned the voice of God? I know I have in younger years. Follow my example, as I follow the examples of Christ ~ 1 Corinthians 11:1 (NIV)
Luke 15:1-7 New International Version (NIV)
The Parable of the Lost SheepNow the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
YOUR EXAMPLE ~
Go after the one person who needs help
We have all sinned in life and need to ask Jesus for forgiveness. Jesus is all about doing his father's business. He cares about everyone and wants no one lost. That's why he mention to go after the one who lost their way. Your own example can lead him/her back to God. Some of our worse times of life can become our testimony of God's greatest down the road.
Me prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
