FAMILY AND FRIENDS ~
I felt to write on family and friends. Even strangers are connected right now with kindness. People helping people and that's what it is all about. Since my daughter and her family lost their home, so many have contacted us over Facebook. People from out of state caring and sending gift cards. It's so much love through words of "I CARE". Would that say, "IF I can help, let me know". When we go through things, we really don't want to feel alone. I love how God connects lives and we can share words of encouragement.
Last night I posted about praying for children. I know that adults are having a hard time, but kids really don't get it. The devastation is crazy and they wonder what is next. They can't sleep, cry and are affected too. My grandson's have lost their home too and all their toys, iPads and things that belonged to them. It's important to show they are not alone and comfort them. My granddaughter Willow was upset last night and her mom texted me. She just found out their trailer at a camp ground called R RANCH has been destroyed. Heartbroken for all my grandchildren today too.
I don't know what you are facing, but know that I CARE. I write from the middle of my heart and somedays are just hard. The sadness can over power the fact that GOD IS ABLE and still stir up some faith. Let us not forget that some family and friends need prayers of health. Miracles to take place in their own bodies or a family member. We can not stop praying! Today the winds are expected to kick up and pray they don't. GOD IS ABLE!
Someday wrote on Facebook what is God trying to tell Napa? It's not just Napa my family and friends. It's in southern California too. Things happen and we are not in control of weather, earthquakes, fires and the list goes on. I don't know why things happen like this, but I know that GOD IS ABLE to change it. Prayer changes you which changes things! Let me say that again, prayer changes you which change things! Our attitude is important and how we view things helps others to view things different. Maybe we just keep the faith and ask God to help us through things that do not make since.
Yesterday, my son in law had an opportunity to go back to her burnt house. He found a small bottle in the ashes and it had the word FAITH written on it. He brought it back to Tracy and tears just came. Somethings came out of the ashes and it was FAITH. A little reminder of what God does in the midst of ashes. TEARS!
What else can I say today but encourage you to grab a scripture of hope today. God is not done and is able to stop the fires, stop the tears and bring some hope. We need this normal of smoke, loss and tears to stop. Please God, hear our cry and help us NOW. Let he wind not kick up today and help our firefighters to be safe and all the people helping.
TEARS ~
I CARE and I promise I am praying for you, your family and your friends. Thank you to all who have mailed gift cards, came by my house to see my daughter and son in law, and care. My heart is full of thanks and love to each of you. There is something about my child, even when they grow up, they are still my child and I don't like to see them hurt, cry or loose their things. Yes I am grateful they are alive and is great, but now it's time to restore and press forward.
Purpose this a good day and pray! Give thanks for all you do have in life and your family plus friends. We are not alone and that is such a huge blessings.
