EXCITEMENT FILLS THE AIR ~
In all my ways, I will acknowledge him
Proverbs 3:6 New International Version (NIV)
In all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
Living by scriptures will help you. Times of encouragement, promises and wisdom is found inside one book called the Bible. Reading of life past, present and the future ~ Jeremiah 29:11 Often times Christmas brings sorrows. Thinking about others who left earth way too soon. Thinking about past Christmas you would love to have again or never have. Our minds take on thinking and wonder during this season and all seasons of life. Romans 12:1-2 talks about each of us living in God's ways.
Romans 12:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Not everyone who says they are a Christian lives for God. We can title our lives but our actions is what shows our surrender. Romans talks about a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. A Christian is not perfect but continues to learn and do their best in serving God plus others. I have made my own mistakes of life and had regrets. I've learned to let those regrets go and living in today. My friend Darlene gave me a small piece of wood that hangs on my wall that says: LIVE IN TODAY
The important things of life to forgive yourself over things, forgive others and move into new beginnings with God. During this Christmas season, live in the moments of life. Christmas isn't about the gifts, but about the gift of Jesus in our lives. We share gifts because we love each other and purpose time with each other. There is so much to be said about this time of year. I find it magically and exciting because I know Jesus is at work in my life plus your lives. I find myself not being that 18 year old girl who didn't understand so much and angry at God. I've learn to trust and let God lead my life.
You are important and your life matters. You have but one life to live and live it. Don't want to dream again, but live your dream. Someone is waiting on you, to do what you do in life. Each of our lives is an example and our legacy will live on. Someone will remember your smile and act of kindness in their lives. I have been sick for a week now and yesterday I was able to go to Willow's classroom. The joy of seeing her teacher Ms Ortiz, Ms Holly and Ms Kayla was overwhelming for me. I felt cared bout and I received gifts from them. But one little boy named Colin said this, "Ms Sparkie but how are you eyes and he gave me a big hug". Then I saw the excitement on faces of children because I was there. A little girl said, "Ms Sparkie, you are so fun how come". I said, "because your teacher made this day all about fun and Christmas".
See the lives that you make a difference in. Stop looking into a mirror of sadness over things that are different in life. I know this too because my brother died on Christmas day years ago. My mother made it a sad day, no trees, no presents and no smiles for so many years. I have done my best to make Christmas about fun again, but cry inside my heart to God. Some years are harder than others. I was only 32 years old and I loved him so much. I had two little kids 2 and 5 years old. They didn't understand death and only wanted to open gifts. We had to wait until that night after my brother died and we open our gifts with a heavy heart but smiling faces of children.
We never know what one life goes through during Christmas Seasons or any seasons. Be kind and share a smile today. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking time to read this. May God brings your hearts desire this Christmas Season.
