I have learned to guard my heart and know that everyone will not understand me. I feel like that's okay if they don't. I don't do things with thinking I will get something back. It's just who I am and part of my character. If I am not careful, I get my feelings hurt when people judge me wrong. I haven't done a good job at protecting my own heart at times. You can't allow others to affect who you know you are in life. Never stop being you.
Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
EVERYTHING YOU DO ~
Do it with a heart of good intentions
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
John 3:16 (NIV)
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
I asked Jesus to come into my heart and my life began to change. A process of learning and growing in God begun. I read scriptures and planted them inside my heart. I wanted to live in the peace of God I heard about in life. I was always a nervous girl after my dad died when I was 18 years old. I always knew my dad took care of things, but now it was me taking care of my mom. I didn't know Jesus inside at 18 years old. But once I did, I felt a calm come over me. I knew God gave his son for others and I was included in that others too.
God's word says to be a peacemaker and live in the freedom of the Lord. Brand new beginnings and learning daily in God. I hope you know Jesus in your heart too. It's simple by asking forgiveness of sin and coming into your heart. Turning from wrong ways and do what is right. Letting God use your life is a daily process and we can continue to grow in knowledge.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
