The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.
It is important to encourage one another. Just like God has a plan to prosper you, the devil has plan to destroy you. Thoughts are powerful and our thoughts lead to action. Be careful the things you dwell on and let go of things you can not change. Yesterday proved to be a day of my mind dealing with things I had no control over. Still I allow it to bother me and found myself crying. Sometimes our past becomes our present when we think too much.
I grew up not having much money to do extra things in life. I remember 3 short vacations as a child. I would always hear about not having money and wanting a certain type of cereal and was told no. I wanted to buy new clothes and was told I had to have a yard sale of my things to buy clothes one year. I remember going out to dinner, but have always had to watch the dollar figure of things. My husband and I are retired now, but we live on a limited amount of money. Once again, I hear no we don't have the money for that. My heart hurts at times because it's a struggle to balance money even now.
ENCOURAGEMENT ~
The Lord is there for us, but wisdom of how we handle things is needed
Hebrews 10:24-25 New Living Translation (NLT)
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
MOTIVATE ~
It is a great feeling when someone encourages us. Just knowing they care and show it. It is also a great feeling when I encourage someone and they say it made them feel better. Life is about sharing it and not comparing it. Maybe I don't have what you have and maybe you don't have what I have, but we each have freedom in our lives. Freedom to get a better job, freedom to balance money better and freedom of thoughts. I can look back at life and see how far God has brought me. Once defeated and thinking I didn't deserve more in life. I motivate myself daily to write, speak the truth and know that God has a bigger plan for my life.
Jeremiah 29:11 New Living Translation (NLT)
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
I hope you can see I write from the middle of my heart. The truth about my thoughts and my knowing God has this. I truly believe God has guided my life when through some wrong decisions. It is in those wrong decisions that I've learned and able to help others. It is through the wrong decisions that God even blessed me because he knew my heart. I've never meant to hurt anyone or sway someone away from God. I know that somethings are not explainable. Things happen to each of us and we must deal with it. God has a plan and we must step into it.
Growing wiser from yesterday, live in today and plan for tomorrow!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
