HOW ABOUT YOU? Have you ever said words you wish you would have not said to someone? Do you know that the Bible says: Romans 3:23-24 New International Version (NIV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God knew that we would say words, make mistakes and need to press forward in life. He gives us words like, "I'm sorry" which can help. Also "please forgive me". There are words and times of life that just make us human and God's amazing power to forgive is wonder. Not only do we forgive but we must forget somethings in life. Let's be real, somethings are just easier said than done in life.
Colossians 3:13 New International Version (NIV)
13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
As we continue to approach Christmas Day, let us spread joy and cheer as we head out of our homes. We just never know what someone is facing or how much a smile can make. Even open a door for someone or buy a cup of coffee to the person behind you in line. I remember a story last year as I stood in line at Starbucks and I head a woman with her elder mom. Their conversation reminded me of my mom and how much I miss her. I said them if I could buy their coffee and you should have seen the smile on their faces. It made my heart happy to treat them and I felt like I honored my mom in doing so. Life is just so short and then we are gone. Some people will remember us for a moment and others will remember us for a lifetime. I heard words like, I remember when my ....... was alive. Then words that continue of this, "I will had spent more time with .......". Well my friends. we can't turn back time, but we can live in time now.
Be encourage, do your best and forgive yourself over things said or not said. I pray daily for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Purpose a good day and see how your life makes a difference.
