Yesterday, I had a great friend named Erica message me. She attended a prophetic ministry meeting when the speaker ask, "If there was anyone in the room that knew someone named Sparkie". Two of people raised their hands and this is what he said to Sparkie: "Don't hold back. You are God's fire starter". "You have God's wisdom".
Wow this is huge to me and I could not thank Erica enough for messaging me. I had a bit of a hard day and I was struggling over thoughts only God knew. Then this message came and my heart became so very light and I knew without a doubt God is answering the desires of my heart. I'm sharing this, because even in our hardest days, God will speak through someone and someone else can carry the message directly to you. I couldn't thank God enough for sharing these words of hope to me.
I write a lot about kindness and wisdom. I know that Proverbs 31:26 is amazing and my desire to let God use my life. I like to share stories of God's goodness and the amazing forgiveness that comes when we let go of things, we can not change. God has this way of tugging on our hearts and we must be sure we follow that tug.
John 1:1-8 NIV
The Word Became Flesh
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
Read verse 6 again and put your name in there. There was a man or woman sent from God whose name is ............... He/she came as a witness so they might believe. Sharing the gospel of Jesus is important. Don't hold back ~ God has a plan bigger than you might know in life. He wants us to follow his voice, his plan and his will. Overcoming ourselves and the past is a must. We are heading in the right direction and helping others on this path of life too. Even in our hard days, we can truly help someone else. I've witness this with my own eyes.
The Bible says that the word became flesh. Jesus was real and walked throughout the land, but not everyone wanted his words. Jesus was a choice then and continues to be a choice today. I can't imagine my life without Jesus in it and the peace that only God gives. Change happens to each of us and how we deal with it matters. It matters in a big way.
Please know that my prayers continue for your, your family and friends.
