Luke 10:21-24 New International Version (NIV)
21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
22 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
23 Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
EYES ~ DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?
A relationship with God is important. It is good to look through eyes of faith, trust and promise. His words remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
March 13, 2020 ~ I turned 65 years old and expected it to be my best year ever. I was excited about a birthday gathering, vacation in the summer and going new places. I was scheduled to leave the next day to a big celebration called, "Sweet Life Conference". It's filled with over 1,000 women celebrating God in worship, hearing encouraging messages and fun. It suddenly was canceled and I found my 65 year old self being told to shelter in place. I am now considered elderly. What? How did that happen? One day filled with joy, fun, and excited. Then I went too feeling sad, crying and not liking the new normal of life. Nobody said this would last forever, but I was in the moment. The moment of change and tears of what was happening to others. So many sick and dying. So many scared and alone. So many with their own circle of family. I'm writing today to show you my view point of today.
IT IS A NEW DAY ~
It is how we look at today that matters
We are live, we are healthy and we are able to change our minds sets. We have TV, Internet, Phones, Cars and able to still get food, shelter, warmth, cool and the list goes on. People can bring food to you, or you can go to get things yourself. We need to pray for Hospital workers, 911 people, essential workers and places are starting to open back up. Yes, we have new normals, but pressing forward is happening. Let us keep the joy of the Lord of in our lives. Let us look at a new day filled with hope and not be discouraged. It will change and we are living in a history making time. Generations to come will look back in history about the year 2020 and the things that happen. Stories will be told and how will your story play out. I hope mine is one of faith and I did my best daily to keep a good attitude.
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE ~
Look PA I see HOPE. The little girl in this picture is now 9 years old. She is named Willow and last night her daddy sent me a message. She was in the bathtub singing loud a worship song. I was so happy to hear the joy in her voice. She asked me yesterday if we will always need to wear a mask. I told her yes for awhile but I don't believe forever.
Kids and adults are trying to figure out this point of life. Let us pray for each other and keep the faith that today will be greater than yesterday. Purpose good thoughts and a good day. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
