Psalm 91 New International Version (NIV)
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
SHELTER ~ SHADOW
Have you ever been so close to a wall that you look and see a shadow? In this picture, it shows a cat but the shadow represents a lion. The strong one who is inside of us will come out. Turning this to a spiritual note, God draws us to him and he wants us to see the strong one in ourselves. God has brought our lives together for purpose. There are times that we encourage one another and remember that everything that was written (Bible) was to help us.
Romans 15 New International Version (NIV)
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
DO YOU SEE MY SHADOW ~
There is a strong man (Boy) or woman (Girl) inside of you. You might look into the mirror and see a cat, but God see's the Lion. Remember to call upon God and speak with words of power. Powers words are encouraging words and speaking life unto yourself. No wonder is there, but knowing you can do all things through Christ.
GOD is present ~ God remains the same through situations of our lives. He is able to keep us, grow us and connect our lives to someone else. We have all been places in life we wanted to be at and other places we never wanted. The bible says:
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
As I continue my walk with God, my steps are counted one by one. I know that God has me writing you now and sharing some hope into a new day. God can make our paths straight but it takes each of us to be determined to make right decision. One right decisions leads to another decision. God clears our minds from the past, but it is us who brings things back. One little reminder can change your complete day or at least part of it. Determination to look at your shadow of rest in God and that shadow of life of a lion. Standing stronger than ever and believing big everyday of my life.
God's Power ~
Psalm 62:11-12 New International Version (NIV)
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”
Let us hold onto God's promises and count blessings of what we do have today. Maybe some of you are in a hard situation and you just need a little hope. Look up today and know that God hears you, but sometimes it just takes a little time for change to come. I believe that God has brought you to this page to read and to know he cares. We need to stay so close to God that we rest in the shadow of him. You are stronger than you might think. Purpose this a good day!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
