DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM ~
Have you ever just wondered who you were and why you are here on earth? I remember my son (Chad) asking me this, "Mom, who I am and how do you know Jesus is real"? He was about 6 years old. I began to tell him that you feel Jesus deep within your soul. It might be just a tug on your heart and you want to know more about him. He often speaks us through little things and people. The Bible was given for us to read, learn and grow in doing things God's way. You have a day you were born and that's your birthday and you have a day you were born in your spiritual life. A little confusing for a 6 year old, but he listen and wanted to know more.
The story continues and he would be determined to be who he was. I allowed my kids to pick out their own clothes to wear daily. This way their own personalities were showing, yet guided by my hand of buying them. We are often seen through our appearance and it's important to be who you are in life. I took a picture last night of Darlene (Speedy) and I. She was in warm clothes and I was in shorts with no coat. We feel things different even like the weather. We each have our own personalities, clothing style and attitude. But we must keep an attitude of praise to God.
God speaks words of how we are fearfully and wonderfully made! To each of us our own desires of life and only God knows how to guide those desires. We will experiences tears of sorrow as well. Let us not let the tears of sorrow keep us from the blessings of God. It's like a big box of emotions. Each one takes us to a different level of life. It's not about how much we have in life, but about how much we grow from our daily scars of choices of life. One choices can lead to a sorrow but the next can lead to Joy. Our choices affects us now and down the road of life.
God gets blamed for a lot of things in our lives and so does the devil. When actually, it was our own feel will that caused some scars in our lives. Yes, I said that and let me say that again, our own choices can leaves scars that God never meant or the devil. It was our own free will ~
I have a scar on my left hand that reminds me of the saving power of God. It was in the waters of Cabo 2004 where life changed for me. It's crazy how time can go by and we forget what the saving power of God did for us. If we could only see those scars of before and who we are today. Each day has the power of change by the holy spirit of God. He wants us to grow and become stronger daily, not to back up and remember the hurts to stop us. The is power in the name of Jesus ~ POWER!
If you don't know Jesus in a personal way, there is one call on hold. He waits for you to call him and ask him into your heart. A change of sin and living in newness. A renewing of your mind in Romans 12:2. God's love is amazing and changes us from within. That scars of yesterdays can be gone, but often a reminder of where God has brought us from in life. Nobody can be you and only you can give your heart to God. Only you can pursue Jesus daily and begin to live in freedom of new choices. Only you can live without regrets and take another step up to God.
My prayers continue daily for you, your family and friends. I might not know who reads this or your situation but I promise that God does. He has brought you to this blog to read and plant who you are today in him. You are an overcomer of all things and there is someone watching your life. Be a light in a dark world and be a light unto yourself. That scar is a reminder of where God's brought you from. Even if that scar is emotional and nobody can see it, because God can!
I care and I hope you feel that through the words on this page!
