Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
39 He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
41 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
DO UNTO OTHERS ~
TO BE LIKE YOUR TEACHER
We learned in different ways of life. A teacher is one who has studied and then teaches others. A teacher is found in each of us. People watch our lives and we become an example to them. God has given us life and ability to make right choices. We must be careful who we follow and what we believe to be truth. The Bible says to forgive and you will be forgiven.
Take a few minutes to look at your own life. How can you change somethings and make things better? Surround your life with positive people and those who spur you on in life. Be that person who spurs others on too.
Hebrews 10:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
ENCOURAGEMENT ~
Isn't it great when someone encourages you to do something? It's just grand knowing that someone is on your side and knows you can do it. Sometimes people believe in us a little more than we might believe in ourselves. You can do this and it spurs you on to do it. Each day is so important and we must do our best in this new day.
Purpose this a good day. Enjoy the life you have been given and count blessings. Reach out to others by a text message, phone call, email or spending time in person. We just never know what can happen in one day and life should never be lived in regrets. Regret that you didn't connect with someone. Never forget your important and your life matters! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
