Genesis 1:27 New International Version (NIV)
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
We are created after God's own image. A purpose beyond a human understanding. Never compare your life to anyone else. Your unique and set apart for a reason. You were chosen for such a time as this. It is truly the way we look at things in life that matters.
1 Peter 2:9 New International Version (NIV)
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
LIFE ~ SHARE IT
Maybe I don't have what you have what you have in life or even feel so important, but each of us is important to God. Lets face it, we like to be recognized in some areas of life. Like good job or let me treat you to coffee. Lets spend some time talking and sharing real life together. Not everyone wants to be in my life and I know that. People come and people go, but those who truly care, remain. We remain in others lives and we share ups plus downs. We share encouragement and friendship. We share fun, smiles and even tears.
Hebrews 10:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
LIFE ~ I talk about it a lot of how short life is to us. I remember when my dad died when I was 18 years old. That day felt like the end of the world. Letting did I know that my mom was struggle for almost 40 years in missing my dad. She never really lived again for my brother and I. She lost part of herself and that ended her wanting to do anything with others. She even lost her best friend because she couldn't deal with my mom's mourning for years. I am not saying you shouldn't mourn because it's natural and it happens. I am saying don't end your life too. There are others who want to be in your life and share life. They stand faithful by you and can't relate to your pain or can they? Others in a family looses someone too, but in a different way.
As a 18 year old girl, I had never seen a dead person. My dad was the first and mentally I needed help too. We can grieve in the moment and years to come. We never get over someone, but how to deal with it. Spend time with other family and ask God to help you in the new normal. The new normal probably stinks and you cry more than anyone knows. Behind that scene is God and remains faithful in helping us press forward. Just like a new day comes, so does your life.
What day is it? It's my favorite day because I am alive. Ever since my heart attack, I have learned to cherish a new day and live for those around me too. Life has so many changes and somehow I have another chance on life. I want to live it fully and not regret my past in any way. I see those who care about me and want me in their lives. I have wasted too much time on those who don't even notice me. Thinking way too much on certain things. Live your life and cherish what God has given you TODAY!
My prayers are with those who mourn today and need God to help them. I never make light of those who hurt in loss of lives, jobs, houses, friends and the list goes on. I do care and I pray daily for you, your family and friends. Life is so short and purpose this a good day! Purpose everyday a good day and share hope with others. I'm awake and I thank God for so many things daily.
