1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

The sky is painted different every day. The clouds roll in and roll out. The rains come and then disappear. The sun shines bright on some days. We never know what to expect with the weather. Men and Women try to figure out our weather system and it is totally in the hands of God.
As life continues, we are reminded of who controls our lives. The biggest thing, is to remember that we do have free will and make our own choices. Often God get blamed for things, when it wasn't him at all. It was our own choices and we often need to take responsibility for just making a wrong choice. God has allowed us a way of sin and turning our thoughts around. I often tell people, they don't realize how much power is given to us. Free will gets us into great places but also hard places if we are not careful.
This journey of life has taken us from birth unto our now. Adding another number to our year of age doesn't always mean we gained wisdom in that year. I was leading a group of Women last night in our growth group and it was mention about age. One girl said, she wasn't the same person she was 3 years ago after coming to The Well. The Well is a class and service for women every Wednesday night at our church (Hillside Christian Church) in Napa. She began to explain how much she has grown and changed. It became an example to the others in the growth. I totally feel the same way about myself. Stepping into the plan of God for your life is amazing. It is steps into the right direction.
Don't forget that the devil is real and wants to destroy your life. If he can just get into your thoughts and turn them, he thinks he wins. God has another plan and will come in with victory if you let him. It takes you keeping your mind stayed on God and trying again. Often times it takes more than one time to get the point, but so glad we have the opportunity to try again.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
People watch our lives and we don't realize how much of an example we are to someone else. Be careful in your action and your words. Even the words you say to yourself. Be positive and see the good in things. Life is way to short to stay trapped in yesterdays of life, sorrows of even now and pressing forward isn't always easy. But I know you can do it! I know that I can do it and sometimes takes a little encouragement for us to see things different. Just by seeing the sky, brings my mind to a powerful moment. I know that God created this sky, this earth and even me. I know he did this and I know that I can do anything I put my mind too.
Let us move into this new day with power in thoughts. I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
