Psalm 5:3 New International Version (NIV)
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
What are your first thoughts of a morning? Do you give praise to God for a new day? I count every day a blessing that I'm awake and able to do what is ahead of me. Some of which is so fun and other stuff not so fun. Then suddenly things will change, my plans are not my plans and I must do something else. I remember when my mom was in the care home, I would go see her and get home to get a call from the care home. I would need to go back because she wouldn't calm down. One time, we thought she saw a bomb on the wall. I walked in and simply pretended to take the imaginary bomb off the walk. I walked out of the room and walked back in. She was so happy I saved her life. It was all pretend because a bomb was never there. Her mind was drifting and it was beginning of change as I watched her change mentally.
David said is Psalm 5:3 ~
in the morning, I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
I do wait on somethings of life. My creature of habits is ready for change. Some change is so good for us and trusting the Lord with all our hearts is what we should do. Pushing aside thoughts that travel way to far in the wrong direction. I am not a perfect person and I have moments of life too. When my normal has been changed and I search for a new normal. I have found that if I get up early, seek the Lord with all my heart and lean not to some of my own understanding, it works! I wait on the Lord and I see the importance of my own decisions of life. I see the importance of others decisions in my life too. Life is too short to allow a wasted day to go by. What can I do this day that will make a difference to myself and others? I can live the best example daily and cast down imaginations.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
LIVING THE BEST LIFE EVER ~
Doing your best daily to live according to the word of God
In the morning we are refreshed from sleeping and we break the fast of food with breakfast. I look forward to getting ready for a new day, writing you with a cup of tea and then my breakfast. Just a little encouragement in one day can go along way. I give thanks to God for you who read my blog and encourage me to write. God has been good to me and yet through much heartbreak of life. Each of us go through ups and downs. Disappointments and wishing we had moments.
I want to leave you today with your thoughts of your own daily routine of life. Daily I write you, daily I give thanks, daily I praise, daily I ask God to use your life and connect with others. I reach out beyond myself to help others and guard my heart. I do cry, I make mistakes and I have new normals at times. Life has the same opportunity for each of us in knowing Jesus and surrendering our hearts to him. I hope you will choose daily to seek the Lord and purpose time with those you love. If you have not surrendered your heart to God, it's easy. Ask him to forgive you of all your sins and come into your heart. Start ready the Bible and find a good church that teaches the Bible.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
