Psalm 139:13-16 New International Version (NIV)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
PURPOSE ~
I speak of purpose a lot, because we might not realize the depth of a new day! I hear people say that they don't have a purpose or they don't know their purpose. God's word clearly states we are his masterpiece. That means we are pretty special to him and his plan continues to unfold for each of us.
Some of our own mistakes changes things around us. I remember being younger and saying things I wished I had never said or doing something I wish I had never done. It's called life and we learn from things. We must learn to forgive ourselves and allow God to mold us daily into his character of life. Showing kindness to others and living in freedom of sins.
Isaiah 61:1-3 New International Version (NIV)The Year of the Lord’s FavorThe Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
POINTS ~
Beauty for ashes
Joy instead of mourning
Garment of praise
Know who you are in Christ! Forgiveness and ready to live a life of freedom of mind. God is able to handle this day just fine and see the goodness in it. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
