CONFIDENCE ~
Deuteronomy 31:6-8 New International Version (NIV)
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
As life continues to move forward, don't lose site of God's words. Things in life can scare us, but we must remember who God is in our lives. Throughout the Bible are so many encouraging scriptures. I choose today Jeremiah 17:7 ~ Blessed is the one who trust in the Lord, who confidence is in him.
CONFIDENCE ~
dictionary: The feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust.
I speak of trusting God often and found myself not trusting God in a certain area of my life. When I read this scripture about confidence, I reminded myself of how big God is to handle everything. Turning my thoughts and actions to him is very important. Reminding myself that the negative thoughts are not from God, but the enemy my soul tries to make them seem real. I know that God is a promise keeper and he guides our lives through the Bible. God gives us our lives through free will too. He gives us the opportunity to choose right.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE ~
When you walk in confidence of who God is, people watch your life!
Philippians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
No matter what happens in your life, put your confidence in who God is the word of God. He created the Heavens and the Earth. He created you and me for a greater purpose. Free will gets us into places of life that seem unreal. It can also bring us to place in a positive way. I remember years ago of being so alone and crying out to God. That moment didn't happen over night, but in time I find myself teaching, leading and trusting God beyond limits. I am confident that God has brought me through so terrible times in life. He has set my feet on the path he has chosen and I feel it deep with my soul.
I don't have all the answers or even know what today will bring, but God does. I trust him and I walk in that confidence of knowing he is big enough to handle my today. How about you, can you look back and just see moments God has brought you through in life? Moments that seemed unreal and now you look back to see the strength you felt. I heard it said, that sometimes being strong is all you have. So look how strong you are in life and find that confident that God wants you to walk in life.
CONFIDENCE ~ ONCE AGAIN ~
Philippians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Develop that firm trust in God daily and walk in the confidence today!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
