WRITE THE STORY ~
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
The story about my life is complicated. It is as if I am starring at a blank page and needing to put some words on that page. Words of encouragement, hope and love. Words of peace, grace and mercy. Words that say that somebody reading this needs to read it.
In life, we go through different things. We do have moments of being afraid of what is next in life. We have moments of how do I press forward when I feel so defeated. Reaching out to God through every situation in life is important. We must realize that our choices lead us in this life.
1 John 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
God hears you, ask, believe and keep the confidence in going to him. As I read this verse over, I see that it says to ask according to his will. God can change things in our lives. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can rest knowing God has this. What this is for you, God is working on your behalf. There are seasons of change and in those seasons can come storms, but victory is ahead. Keep those eyes looking up to God.
I mention this word today because life can become complicated. Especially when you begin to share life with others. There will be questions we just don't want to hear and answers that bring us to tears. We might drift away from people because it makes us not think of the storm our life is in. Yet, God brought people together in the storm of life. There is strength in numbers and encouragement that you might need today. So let me encourage you that you might not understand the why of things, but as you press through the storm, you will find that God works on your behalf.
In all seasons of life, I've seen change and witness the power of God. We read books, we go to church, we go to growth groups and we connect with people. We develop friendships and meet new people. People are different and some will help guide us the right way, but others the wrong way. We alert and watch who you let into your life. Let the Bible (God) guide your life and the let the blank page before you be written with hope, love and guidance.
Even the strongest person you know, has struggles and they need God to help them. Prayer works my friends and prayer changes you which changes things. Be encouraged today and know that I care. Let God move into your life with a fullness of heart. Take the word complicated away and allow peace to flow in the middle of whatever season you are in.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
