LET'S TALK ~
It's always nice to grab a cup of hot tea and begin to relax. I often pick up a good book and just read. I love having tea parties with my granddaughters. We share stories that are true and pretend. I love the laughter of their voices and their creative stores. Sharing tea time, but they like to use vitamin water instead of tea.
Tea ~ One cup of tea in the morning while I write you. I find a Bible scripture to share with you and it all begins. Here we go:
Joel 3:10 New King James Version
Beat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.
LET'S TALK ~
I AM STRONG
Philippians 1:6 ~
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Psalm 34:8 New King James Version
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
TASTE and SEE that the Lord is good ~ Wow what great words to remember. It's becomes our choices to taste and see that the Lord is good.
God's word plants hope within our hearts and sets our feet upon new beginnings. It is not just a new beginning, but a lasting relationship with God. After we surrender our heart to God, we step into the trust lane of life and never change lanes. It's a straight path with God, but don't forget some curves will come your way. Never sway from the truth or doing the right thing in life. I have found that some people don't understand me with my kindness. I do my best daily to live a Jesus lifestyle and yet I'm human and make mistakes too.
There are things in life that bring our thoughts to different places. A sudden reminder of something and then you have that choice to dwell on it or forget it. People do come into our lives that promises us things and we never get them or they break our trust. Once a trust is broken, it's hard to bring that trust back again. God doesn't break the trust with us, it is us who breaks it with him. If we open the Bible, read the words and develop a Christ like attitude, we will find ourselves changing. The change will take us from who we use to be in life, to a new person. A person who looks at things different and change happens to each of us.
Never compare your life to anyone else. You do not know the complete story or the unwritten part of someone's life. I heard this from someone, "there are skeletons in her closet too". It made me think and the Bible says that we have ALL sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That's why God gives us another chance and we do get forgiveness! People might not forgive or forget, but God opens a brand new day for you and me.
Here we are today, ready to make a difference in someone life. Ready to look in the mirror and speak life words unto ourselves. Yesterday is gone and now we have another chance to live in this day. A day that God gave us to be happy and live a full life of hope. Today, I feel courage to face some hard things, casting off the wonder of why and pressing in toward God's words of truth.
I hope you will join me today in seeing yourself victorious! My prayers are with you, your family and friends!
