2 Timothy 4:5-15 New Living Translation (NLT)
But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
CLEAR SKY ~
I was at dinner with my family the other night and I looked over to my left to see this boat on the water. The water was so calm, the sky so clear and the weather perfect. Yet, my mind wondered as I sat there. I had to purpose my mind back with my family and enjoy the time we had together. Our minds can wonder and it's up to us to bring back the calm into our brains. Purpose to see the clear sky.
The Bible talks about keeping a clear mind in every situation! How about you, does something suddenly happen and your mind begins to wonder? It is as if we move a million miles in thoughts and haven't even left a chair.
Psalm 85:8 New Living Translation (NLT)
I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
for he speaks peace to his faithful people.
But let them not return to their foolish ways.
CLEAR SKY ~ CLEAR MIND
Look up into the sky, is just one sign from God.
Each day of life is a new beginning, new thoughts and remembering where God has brought us from in life. Turning our thoughts to his plan, his will and he will give us the desires of your heart. You might feel the battle is too much, but it's only a season of too much. Calm will come again and be is yours for the asking. We don't always get our prayers answered immediately. We sometimes need to deal with new normals and that can be crazy hard. I tell myself, "purpose to see the good in things".
Philippians 4:6-7 New Living Translation (NLT)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
CLEAR SKY ~
When our lives are clear, we see things different. When we choose to rest in the will of God and his plan, we find ourselves at a different place. Through it all, I've learned trusting God is so important and allow myself to see clearly. I may not always understand God's plan, but I trust him to guide my life.
Just like the boat in this picture, there must be a drive to guide that boat and everyone else can rest knowing it's in good hands. You my friend are in good hands with God. God sent people into our path of life for a reason. Some that are negative will show up, but those are not the ones who you should trust to guide your boat. Let Jesus be the driver today of your life!
Don't limit God ~
God is the one who created the beginning to the end of life. He knows what is best and guides us so gentle. Remember to count blessings daily and rest in his plan. If you can change something to better, do it. If you can't change something, give it to God.
My prayers are with you today, your family and friends.
