WHITE CHRISTMAS ~
Some of us do not live where it snows.  Often Christmas Season is thought of as snow and cold weather. In Southern California, the weather is still on the warm side and there are times of rain, but no snow.  No matter what the weather is, the season is about sharing life with others.

LOVE ~ JOY ~ PEACE ~
Luke 2:14 (KJV)
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

As I spoke on my blog yesterday, there are seasons in our life.  In each season there is still hope and faith beyond a human understanding.  Spreading the joy to others and making life just a little bit better by a smile.  I say this often, but we never know what one person goes through in one day.  There are so many changes and people watch our lives.

CHRISTMAS SEASON ~
Brings back memories of Christmas past.  Let us not forget that we do have a Christmas now and time to enjoy time with others.  Moving into a new Christmas Season, brings us hope. Jesus is the reason for the season, his birth and his amazing love that continues through all generations.  God spoke to Mary:

Luke 1:30-35 (NIV)
30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

A MIRACLE BIRTH ~
God had a plan before Mary knew it.  She would have a son and the rest would play out throughout the Bible.  The plan of Jesus life continues today.  God has given us each free will and an option to live for our lives for him or not.  Christmas is the time to celebrate his birth and join together with family/friends too.  It suppose to bring us together and not apart.

During this Christmas Season, it's important to guard your heart and your mind.  I watched lives that can go shopping and get their kids most everything they want.  I watched others lives barely be able to buy one gift and it's a small one.  I always make sure to donate to kids by giving gifts at drop off places and I am a ELF with my sister/friend Darlene every year for the Foster Family Christmas Party.  We are known as Sparkie and Speedy and love kids/family.  It is our privilege to make these kids laugh and have a good time.  Sharing hope and before the party over ~ SANTA ARRIVES!  Santa ~ I KNOW HIM!

Maybe we don't get everything we want this year for Christmas, but let us count blessings of what we do have.  Little kids who live in Foster Homes go through a lot in life.  Far more than we might ever realize. Yet, there are good families to adopt kids and make the best for them.  Sharing hope throughout the Christmas Season with kids too.  Just a smile makes a difference.

There are also things that bring us to reality.  A little boy crying at the Foster Family Christmas Party and he did not want to sit on Santa's lap.  When asked why, he said, "He can not give me what I want".  He was asked what he did want? All he said was this, "I want my mommy back".  Then of course, tears!  He was living in a Foster Home and I don't know his circumstances but you could feel his little heart breaking.  That's where some prayers come in and trying to help him as much as possible.

NO ~ We don't understand everything in life.  The truth of the matter is, there are hurting people in the Christmas Season and let us not forget to pray for others.  I just had one friend who dad went to Heaven and another friend who Grandma was expected to go there last night.  We face things daily and hope comes from the Lord.  We must purpose a smile, a hug and friendship. You just never know who might need one of those.

My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
