Revelation 3:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
To the Church in Philadelphia
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
CHOICES TO MAKE ~
I believe that God will open doors
Philippians 4:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
CHOICES TO MAKE ~
Prayer and petition with thanksgiving
Let us remember that God is the overseer of everything. Behind the scenes of life, God is working all things out. Through each decision we make, we can have peace. I have learned to guard my heart daily and watch the words I let plant inside my head. God has given me a new beginning daily and you have the same opportunities to trust the Lord too. I often don't realize how many people watch my life. I learn daily and see how I can handle somethings different. An open door by God, give us free will to make right decisions too.
You have the key that God has given to let your sins be gone and new beginnings to happen. Keys unlock things, but they also can lock things. Purpose time with God in study, praise and prayer. Purpose time with those in community who serve God and challenge yourself to become a better person daily. One who reaches out to others and giving thanks for all you do have in life. Time goes by so fast and don't miss out on what God has for you too. Giving my life to God was a refreshing moment that last forever. I find peace in talking with God and knowing my choices matter.
When I was a kid, I watched my dad look at a map. There wasn't cell phone then and it took time. He would say, "I need to know which way to go". We would be stopped on the side of the road while he doubt checked the direction. When he gave his life to God, I remember him relating it to a map. A map that showed him the way to God. The Bible in which he read daily and he wanted to know more about God. We don't always know the right decision, but we can do our best. Giving our lives to God, is right. I know that, but I see the importance of map and being guiding by God. Once again, choices and taking time to make the right one.
My thoughts and prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day and make right choices. Thank you for taking time to read this and passing it on to your family and friends.
