Proverbs 22:6 King James Version (KJV)
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
CHILDREN ~
Psalm 127:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
There is a child inside each of us. We carry things from our childhood to adulthood. Some of that might be good and some might be hard stuff. Many people wish they had kids and can't have them. Others have kids and complain way too much about them. Children are a gift from God and should be cherished. Before you know it, children grow up and you missed moments with them. Special moments of smiles, coloring time, watching a tv show together or reading a book. Take time to listen to them and what becomes important to them, should be important to you too.
Matthew 19:14 King James Version (KJV)But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Ephesians 6:1-4 King James Version (KJV)Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
ADULTS ~
Let us train children in the way of the Lord
I thank God for opportunities to teach and lead children/adults. Life is worth more than our frustrations of life. It's time to let little things go and become strong in this life. God has been good to each of us. From a child to an adult, we can count blessings. Children grow up so fast and I never want to miss out moments with my grandchildren or helping with other kids. My smile and my kind words makes a difference to kids plus adults, so does yours!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
