Jesus Blesses the Children
13 One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him
14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.
15 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” 16 Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.
CHILDREN become ADULTS
The inside of an adult is a child who has grew up with some right beliefs and wrong beliefs. Each of us are different and have been through different things. God tells us to come to him as a little child. One who believes and receives a love from him.
CHILDREN ~ knew to reach out to Jesus.
Verse 15 above speaks of all of us coming to Jesus like a little child. A young child is known as a one with a pure heart and running into the arms of another human. Also running into the arms of Jesus. A child trust and doesn't always questions things, they just believe. So let us believe big in Jesus and know that he can handle our today of life.
So of you are facing health issues, money issues, loss of a loved one and the list goes on. In all cases God knows exactly what we need in life. Maybe it's not God's timing for the one thing you really want and it takes time to rest in God. Maybe something has gotten postponed and you are having a hard time to trust. That is when you take that leap of faith and thank God for the strength you didn't know you had inside of you.
I have watch my granddaughters learn to trust and learn to do things on their own. It has taken time for them to learn and to grow a little more. Each day is a chance to do something different and grow in God too. I will never forget when my 3 years granddaughter Brookley, told us about the story she learned at kids class at church of the rock and sand. She retained the complete story and said, " the rains came and made sand go away. The winds blew and house fell down. Build you house on sand and thank you very much." I asked her who the rock was and she said, "JESUS". A 3 year old and my heart was filled with joy. She listens and I thought she met a next friend named Roxane in the beginning but it was the ROCK and SAND. I love it!
BUILD YOUR LIFE ON THE ROCK ~ CHRIST
I have got the mirror before my life and felt like a child a lot, but I see an older lady. That is the same me inside but outside my face has changed. Some wrinkles and big mistakes in life. Jesus was quietly there for me and now together, we can make a joyful noise of praise. Let the kid inside of you come out today in trusting in God. In all areas, even when things looked so bad. Maybe your so bad wasn't so bad after you trusted God. A new way of thinking and living is a must in Jesus. Let your life become better and not bitter!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and plant hope into your hearts. I care and my prayers continue for the readers of my blog.
